More than 800 apartments and additional storeys have been approved for Tim Gurner’s $3.75-billion Jam Factory project in Melbourne’s South Yarra.

The City of Stonnington Council granted planning permission for Gurner Group and Qualitas’s amended plans for the project’s third stage at its July 28 meeting.

Changes included increasing apartment numbers from 448 to 886, increasing the height of two buildings to 17 and 18 storeys, and redesigning part of the facade.
